Welcome to Redeemer Summer Camp – Your Summer Adventure Begins!
Dear Redeemer Summer Camp Families,
We are so excited to welcome you to Redeemer Summer Camp 2025! We’re thrilled to have your family join us for what promises to be a joyful, Christ-centered, and unforgettable summer. This year, our theme is “True North”—a thrilling journey where campers will explore God’s wild world and discover His love and guidance as their compass.
Camp Overview
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Class placement is determined by camper enrollment and classroom availability. Each child will be placed in the group that best supports their age and developmental needs. Our Camp Director will make placement decisions with care, based on enrollment and student needs.
Summer Camp Offerings will go to LCMS Comfort Dog Program.
Daily Check-In & Safety
- Children must be signed in and out by an adult each day.
- Please bring your driver’s license/state issued ID for pick-up until our staff becomes familiar with all families.
- We encourage campers to arrive by 9:00 AM. If you’re running late, please notify Connie Silvas at summer@redeemer.net, (512) 464-1451.
Camp Policies
- No cell phones or smart watches are allowed at camp.
- All camp fees must be paid on time. Email reminders will be sent for any remaining balances.

Where is drop-off?
Drop-off varies by camp type:
- Athletic Camp: Use the back gym gate in the Burrell parking lot to access the gym.
- Elementary Summer Camp: Enter through the main preschool office and check in at the 2nd-grade classrooms.
- Preschool Summer Care: Enter through the main preschool office and drop your child off at their classroom.
Parents must walk children to and from classrooms/gym. Please be ready to show your driver’s license/state issued ID for pick-up.
What is the latest I can drop off in the morning?
We ask that campers arrive by 9:00 AM. If later, please notify Connie Silvas at summer@redeemer.net, (512) 464-1451
How do I pick up my child?
Pick up is from the same location as drop-off:
- Athletic Camp: Gym via Burrell parking lot.
- Elementary Summer Camp: Redeemer’s 2nd-grade classrooms.
- Preschool Summer Care: Child’s classroom.

What if someone else is picking up my child?
Contact Connie Silvas by noon with the name of the authorized person. They must bring a driver’s license/state issued ID. If they are not on your emergency form, prior notice is required.
How do I find out who my child’s counselor is?
You’ll receive a newsletter before camp with your child’s counselor’s name and a short bio.
Do I need to bring snacks?
Snacks are provided twice a day. If your child has allergies, contact Connie Silvas. You may need to send snacks depending on the allergy.
My child needs medication during the day. What should I do?
Please complete the Permission to Dispense Medication form (Link) and contact Connie Silvas with any concerns.
Does my child need a change of clothes?
Only if an event requires it. You’ll be notified via email the Friday before camp if a change of clothes is needed.
Is lunch provided?
No, lunch is not provided. Please pack lunch each day for your child(ren).
What should my child bring to camp each day?
- A packed lunch
- A refillable water bottle
- (Optional) A ball for playground use
Please label all items with your child’s name.
What is the dress code?
- Free dress – no uniforms required
- No spaghetti straps/strapless tops (unless layered)
- Shorts/skirts should reach the fingertips
- No inappropriate or un-Christian graphics or text
- When in doubt, pick something else out!
Are there fun days or field trips?
Yes! Each week includes at least one fun day. Some weeks have field trips. Visit redeemer.net/summer for full details.
Is there an extra cost for fun days or field trips?
No, these are included in your registration. For optional purchases, you may send money. Campers are responsible for their belongings.
Can parents attend field trips?
Some trips allow chaperones. More info will be shared prior to each camp week.
Can I bring a birthday treat for my child’s group?
Yes! Notify staff at least one day in advance. Treats must be prepackaged or precut. Enough must be provided for the whole group.
Can I distribute party invitations at camp?
Yes, but only if you invite the entire group. Otherwise, distribute invitations outside of camp.
