Redeemer is seeking a Director of Communications to lead internal and external communication across multiple media platforms. Do you fit the description of who we are seeking?

You are a natural storyteller and a person of deep Christian faith.  You will use your gifts in public relations, marketing communication, social media community management, graphic design and brand management to help the Pastoral team and your colleagues at Redeemer minister to the people of Austin, Texas. 

You are a versatile and experienced communications professional.  You have a degree in a communication-related field and have applied your education in a religious (Christian), educational, non-profit or business setting.  You can provide examples of how you have successfully applied your skills and expertise.

You’re creative, collaborative and confident.  You think creatively, and you think big.  You seek out input on your work regularly and offer input on the work of others constructively.  You are a passionate advocate who is not afraid to share your perspective, your ideas and your gifts.

You’re flexible and self-motivated. You understand that church work isn’t a Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm job most weeks. You manage your time and your work efficiently. You’re a born multi-tasker. You will report directly to the Senior Pastor.
