Campus Events & Ministry Coordinator

Job Type: Full Time
Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week
Work Hours: M-F: 7:30am –4:30pm
Reports To: Business Administrator

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Campus Events
- Maintain schedule ofall campus events in Facility Scheduler for entire ministry
- Provide daily communication with facilities director about campus events
- Assist staff, members andvisitors with event planning and room setup forms
- Maintain climate control system and all HVAC scheduling
- Assign appropriate access controls for personnel, volunteers and guests
- Maintain access control system daily for locking and unlocking the facilities based on events
- Inform church receptionist of all ministry events and their details 

Event Registrations
- Assist ministers and lay leaders with event set up in Realm
-Collaborate with Accounting Assistant to perform monthly reconciliation of event registrations with payment info
-Ensure that event participants who don’t pay online actually register in Realm
-Assist event registrants with questions about registering via Realm software

Church Database Maintenance
-Perform regular monthly/annual data maintenance of member and guest information in church database software, including data entry
-Perform regular queries of data to discover data errors and inconsistencies
-Contact members and populate incomplete information in the church database
-Assist Director of Groups & Next Steps with ministry management of people, groups and events

Other Duties
- Crosstrain with Church Receptionist duties and fill in, as needed
- Provide administrative support primarily to Business Administrator but also to other ministerial staff on an as needed basis
- Assist with typing, proofing, editing, and mailing of church communications, as needed
- Maintain database of eligible approved drivers and submit to insurance agency annually

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
-Possess a love for Jesus Christ and a passion for serving others
-Familiarity with Microsoft® Software Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
-Comfortable scheduling appointments for self and others using Microsoft Outlook
-Accurate data entry skills, prefer 10-key by touch
-Prior database maintenance experience preferred
-Experience with Realm softwarea plus, or similar church database software
-Must maintain confidentiality of all information
-Excellent communication skills
-Willingness to be a team player
-Understand usual and customary operations of a church
-Able to work and focus in a busy environment
-Other duties and responsibilities as assigned and needed.  

Subject to change.
Able to sit for a period of at least four hours, stand unaided for a period of one hour and use computer keyboard for data entry.  

This position requires unaided lifting up to 25 lbs.

Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

Job Type: Part time–Job Share
Hours Per Week: 16-25 hours per week
Work Hours: M-F: Flexible 7:30am-4:30pm and 1 or 2 Sundays per month: 7am-noon 
Reports To: Business Administrator

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Receptionist
- Serve as the first point of contact for members and visitors to Redeemer campus
- Possess a welcoming attitude toward members, school parents and students and visitors
- Able to cater to needs of staff, members, school parents and students, and visitors
- Provide security access for all visitors to campus during school hours
- Conduct background clearance checks for all visitors and volunteers via the Raptor System
- Greet those in need that visit our campus and assist them with various provisions
- Sunday Receptionist 5 hours on a rotational basis 1 –2 times per month

Administrative 
- Receive, sort and distribute mail daily
- Assist with processingall checks for mailing
- Assist with data entry in church membership database
- Assist withobtaining missing database info for church members and guests
- Order office supplies for all ministries
- Scanning documents and archiving electronically
- Assist with typing, proofing and editing, mailing, printing, folding, and stuffing church communications
- Maintain database of eligible approved drivers and submit to insurance agency annually
- Assist with coordinating events, meeting and meals and other church celebrations
- Support Business Administrator and all ministerial staff as needed

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS &ABILITIES
-Possess a love for Jesus Christ and a passion for serving others
-Familiarity with Microsoft® Software Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
-Comfortable scheduling calendar for self and others using Microsoft Outlook
-Accurate data entry skills, 10-key by touch-a plus
-Must maintain confidentiality of all information
-Excellent communication skills with a pleasant phone voice and demeanor
-Willingness to be a team player
-Understand usual and customary operations of a church
-Other duties and responsibilities asassigned and needed.
