Dear Father, it’s so tempting to believe it’s all up to me. Thank You for the Sabbath, Your invitation to cease from my work and to trust Your provision.

Dear Jesus, please forgive me for the times I try to forge ahead in my own strength and wisdom. I want to rely on You in all of life’s moments.

Dear God, please teach me how to respond to my fears and help me obey You.

Dear Jesus, thank You for making me a friend of God and others.

Gracious God, You love and care for the weak and the powerful. Please help me to share Your love and grace.

Dear Father, thank You for my neighbors—whether next door or the people I interact with daily. Please help me to love them with Christlike love.

Loving God, I praise You for Your faithfulness! Please help me to trust in You even in difficult seasons.

Dear God, thank You for being my peace whenever I release my worries into Your hands.

Abba Father, thank You for adopting me as Your child into Your family.

Dear God, please help me wait patiently for You to make things right.

Heavenly Father, thank You for my status as a citizen in the kingdom of heaven. Please give me grace each day by the Spirit to look like Christ.

Dear Jesus, please help me offer to others the kind of friendship You modeled.

Dear God, thank You for helping me walk through the days ahead.

Father, please give me eyes to see people in need and help me show them Your love.
