WORSHIP WITH US
We are excited to meet you and your family!
Join us Sunday morning for worship at our campus in North Central Austin. Come as you are. You, your family, and your friends are always welcome in the Redeemer family.
If we know you are coming, we are happy to make sure you have someone ready to help you navigate your fist visit. We make sure your first visit is the only time you are a stranger here.
FOR YOUR FAMILY
We are all about families! They are one of God’s greatest gifts. Families come in many shapes and sizes… and ages! And we also know they can be messy. We aren’t afraid of messy here. In fact, we have messy families, too, and we are all about intentionally partnering with you to follow Jesus into your home, family, and communities.
On Sundays, we use age-appropriate teaching environments to have fun learning about Jesus and getting to know other parents and children in the Redeemer family. We are committed to providing a safe, clean, and fun environment for each of us to take our next steps in following Jesus.
redeemer lutheran school
In August of 1954, 76 people came together to form Redeemer with the intent of also starting a school. Land was soon purchased on what was then the outskirts of Austin, and soon thereafter Redeemer Lutheran School began. In 1955, Redeemer Lutheran School first opened its doors for 22 elementary school children. Over time, additional classrooms, grade levels, and programs were developed and today our school hosts a little over 500 families in our Early Childhood Center through the 8th grade.
Today we are continuing to build upon the rich history of our school and if you are considering a school for your child, we hope that you will get to know our school and consider Redeemer for your child's education.
meet the family
David and Jamie
Jamie teaches music at Redeemer, from the 15 month-old class all the way up to 8th graders. She says, “it’s such a joy to be able to share my love of music with the students and I delight in listening to them sing songs that speak truth straight from scripture.” She and her husband, David, love having their two-year-old son Theo attend Redeemer’s preschool. They love being a part of Redeemer’s close community that centers around serving Jesus Christ as they learn so much about how to raise their son to know the Lord.
Clint and Amber Sue
We love being a part of the Redeemer family! We have developed so many life-long friendships that have helped us raise our children, comforted us during hard circumstances, and celebrated the victories along the way. One of the most cherished gifts that Redeemer has given our family is the dedication to raising up Christ centered, service minded, empathetic young adults. Our youngest (7) engages in service projects in his classes at school, and our two middle schoolers (11,13) serve both in missions locally and across the states. We know that at Redeemer we are helping to build a next generation of leaders with the heart of Christ engrained in who they are.
