This is where it all begins. Starting Point is a 90-minute gathering to help you and your family connect with Jesus and the Redeemer family. We’ll sit around tables and enjoy some good food. You’ll have the opportunity to connect with a variety of people who make up the Redeemer family and hear how connecting to Jesus and the Redeemer family has changed their lives.
During Starting Point, we’ll answer your questions about the Redeemer family and explore some next step opportunities for you and your family. Our goal is to make sure that your time is valued and you leave feeling more connected to the Redeemer family.
Who is Starting Point for?
Matthew is new to Redeemer. He loves the worship, especially the music and teaching, and the ability to come as you are. Matthew is open to and ready for a conversation that goes beyond a simple "Hi! How are you?" He's looking to connect with other people and make our large church feel more personal.
Sarah and her family have been attending Redeemer for a while now. They come to worship every week but are struggling to figure out what's next for them. Sarah and her family are ready to connect with other families who will help them find and take a next step in their walk with Jesus.
Erica is looking for a Christian school for her children to attend. She's also looking for a community of people that will welcome her family as part of their larger "family." Erica and her family are looking for other families to learn about the education, faith, and community opportunities our school provides.
Jason has been a part of Redeemer for several years and feels the Lord leading him to become more involved. Jason is ready to start serving but doesn't know where to begin. He needs someone who can help him figure out what his next steps are and connect to other people who are serving throughout the church community.
Still have questions?
What about childcare?
We want to meet you and your family so we always encourage families to attend Starting Point together. However, we do provide childcare (with lunch) for young children and our volunteers will enjoy getting to know them and keeping them busy and having fun.
Where does Starting Point take place?
Starting Point takes place in the Reception Room of the main building. From the lobby of the worship center, head down the hallway towards our receptionists desk and then take the stairs or elevator to the second floor.
When is Starting Point offered?
Starting Point is offered several times throughout the year and generally takes place on a Sunday afternoon following the 10:45am worship service. We limit our Starting Point gatherings to 20 people so that the environment is more intimate and open for discussion.
I have more questions.
