We believe that Jesus changes everything and that through His life, death, and resurrection, God has made a way back to Himself for everyone.  The Church has an amazing message to share: that salvation is not based on anything we do, but by the grace extended to us by what Jesus has already done.  It's a gift from God and it’s easy to receive.

101 is a one-day introduction to what we believe at Redeemer and is led by our pastoral team.  Throughout our time together, we will walk through the Creation event and the Fall, Jesus' Incarnation, Crucifixion and Resurrection, Baptism and Communion, Redemption and Restoration, and more.

If you have questions about who Jesus is and what we believe as a church, or if you are just wanting to revisit our core beliefs, we invite you to be a part of this group.

Who is the 101 Class for?

Erica and her family are part of the Christian school here at Redeemer. Her family is starting to get connected into the Redeemer community and they have attended a Connect Gathering. Erica and her family are interested in learning even more about what we believe as a church and school community.

Matthew is new to Redeemer.  He loves the worship, especially the music and teaching, and the ability to come as you are.  Matthew has now attended a Connect Gathering and is ready to learn more about what we believe as a church community.

Rebecca is in high school and was invited to be part of student ministries at Redeemer. This is her first experience in a Lutheran church setting. She met some amazing people in student ministries and also at a recent Connect Gathering and is expressing a desire to learn even more about what we believe as a church.

Jackson is a middle school student and his family has been part of the Redeemer community for a while now. Jackson is ready to learn more about what we believe as a church and is eager to get started with Confirmation. He and his family can find more information about MS confirmation by getting connected with Audrey Duensing Werner.

Still have questions?

When is the 101 class offered?

The 101 class is offered several times throughout the year and generally takes place on a Saturday late morning into early afternoon.  We limit our 101 classes to 25 people so that the environment is more intimate and open for discussion.

Where do 101 classes take place?

101 classes take place in the Reception Room of the main building.  From the lobby of the worship center, head down the hallway towards our reception desk and then take the stairs or elevator to the second floor.

What about childcare?

Redeemer is all about family and we offer childcare for most events and classes… including 101 classes. We have amazing child care staff and volunteers who are eager to spend time with your child for the duration of the 101 class.

I have more questions.

We look forward to hearing from you.  Feel free to ask as many questions as you like via email at nextsteps@redeemer.net.
