STUDIO POLICIES

In order to provide optimum learning for each musician there are some basic rules that need to be followed.

  1. Musicians need to have all necessary materials at each lesson: Music, instrument (where applicable), pencil, and other materials as requested by the teacher.
  2. Musicians must report to their lessons promptly.
  3. Daily practice. This can be determined by your goals. More practice results in more progress. Some teachers recommend a minimum of 4, 30-minute practice sessions per week.
  4. Musicians must be able to practice on an adequate instrument.
  5. If a musician must miss a lesson it is imperative that the PA teacher be notified 24 hours in advance.
  6. Neatness is expected. Musicians should come to their lessons with clean hands and trimmed nails.
  7. Water may be brought to drink, otherwise no food or drinks are allowed in the lesson.
  8. Students must be supervised by an adult before and after lessons.
