STUDIO POLICIES
In order to provide optimum learning for each musician there are some basic rules that need to be followed.
- Musicians need to have all necessary materials at each lesson: Music, instrument (where applicable), pencil, and other materials as requested by the teacher.
- Musicians must report to their lessons promptly.
- Daily practice. This can be determined by your goals. More practice results in more progress. Some teachers recommend a minimum of 4, 30-minute practice sessions per week.
- Musicians must be able to practice on an adequate instrument.
- If a musician must miss a lesson it is imperative that the PA teacher be notified 24 hours in advance.
- Neatness is expected. Musicians should come to their lessons with clean hands and trimmed nails.
- Water may be brought to drink, otherwise no food or drinks are allowed in the lesson.
- Students must be supervised by an adult before and after lessons.
