Hope for Redeemer:
My prayer for Redeemer is that we make God smile! As His children, that we would love and serve one another and those around us in a way that makes Him proud! As I specifically think about the children and young families that my area of ministry serves, I pray that we would come alongside families to love and encourage them in their journey to raise children who know Jesus, love Him with all their whole heart, and grow to serve Him with their lives.
About Amber:
I grew up in San Antonio and lived there until I went to college. I am blessed to have the 2 most wonderful parents in the world and a brother whom I am proud to call ‘My Best Friend.” I was also fortunate to know 3 of my great grandparents and all 4 of my grandparents, 2 of whom are still living! I treasure my family, the strength and support they have given me throughout my life, and the awesome memories we have created over the years.
In 1999, the Lord allowed my path to cross with the most amazing man, whom I am now honored to call my husband. Justin and I have been married for ten years. Justin is a fire fighter with the Buda Fire Department. We have truly been blessed with the gift of a son, Nathanael Christian,who attends Kindergarten at Redeemer School. “Bubba” as Nathanael is often called, is best described as having a “larger than life personality.” We have also been blessed with a true miracle with the gift of our daughter, Camryn McCall. Camryn is almost 1, and she has a smile that lights up a room and melts the hearts of everyone she meets.
Family and friends are two things that bring me great joy in my life. I cherish the numerous relationships I have been blessed to develop and share in over the years. I enjoy dancing, acting, and scrapbooking. I also have a crazy obsession/”addiction” to shopping for clothes & shoes!
